Dr. Alfred Atanda, Jr. is a pediatric orthopedic surgeon and sports medicine expert; Surgical Director, Center for Sports Medicine; medical reviewer for KidsHealth.org and American Journal of Sports Medicine; and author of more than a dozen peer-reviewed journal articles, editorials, reviews and book chapters.

Why I Treat Children

I come from a big family and am the youngest of seven kids. Being around children is natural for me, and love interacting with my patients and parents. My goal is to do whatever it takes to improve the quality of life for the entire family.
