Get to Know Me
I’m West Virginia-born and raised, where most of my family still lives. I practice medicine because I enjoy helping people in a time of need, especially children. The best part of what I do is building relationships with families. I know I’ve had a positive impact if a child’s family is glad they made the decision to come to me for care.
Why I Treat Children
Children are one of our most vulnerable demographics (the other is seniors), and we need to look out for them. Because many of the kids I see have a problem that’s readily addressable, I can help improve their quality of life in a meaningful way. I really enjoy working with parents, too – because as a parent myself, I understand their concerns.
What I'm Passionate About
All children should have access to the healthcare they need. And I believe any program that improves quality of life for children, whether it’s in-school or after-school, benefits kids individually and our society as a whole.
