Get to Know Me
I鈥檝e been practicing medicine for almost 30 years, and I can鈥檛 imagine doing anything else. My favorite thing about being a pediatrician is becoming part of the family. Seeing a child from the first days of life all the way through to adolescence is truly amazing. I鈥檓 very humbled and proud to be voted Osceola County鈥檚 best pediatrician, but what鈥檚 truly rewarding is having parents who were my patients as children, bringing their own children in to see me.
Why I Treat Children
In the Philippines, where I was born and raised, I was inspired by my neighbor who was a physician. For years I watched as he helped people 鈥 especially sick children 鈥 get well and grow up. I thought it was incredible that someone could help heal and make such a difference in a person's life. I knew early on this was what I wanted to do.
What I'm Passionate About
My passion is helping children grow into strong, confident adults. As a doctor I can influence a child鈥檚 life and I take that to heart. When I was young, my doctor was my friend and that鈥檚 my goal with my patients and families. I enjoy celebrating successes and helping my patients through struggles by providing healing and advice in times of sickness and in health.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I regularly participate in medical missions in the Philippines, and I鈥檓 grateful to be able to help children who are sick get back to just being kids. I also treat every child as my own and will do whatever it takes to ensure that all of my 鈥渃hildren鈥 are healthy and strong.
