Get to Know Me
I began my medical education in India, then moved to Brooklyn, New York for a residency in pediatrics. After caring for children as a general pediatrician for several years, I entered a fellowship program in pediatric emergency medicine. I also completed a fellowship in emergency ultrasound so I could bring that technology to help my patients.
Why I Treat Children
I think kids should always be happy and playful. So when they鈥檙e not, I like to be there with my team to do everything we can to get them well and happy again. Helping children heal is a wonderful, fulfilling experience for everyone involved.
What I'm Passionate About
My passion is to be there for the child. By helping both the child and family to the very best of my ability, I can help make a difficult situation easier. One of the ways I contribute to quality care is by using new technologies in my work.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I鈥檓 well aware that an emergency room is not where a family likes to spend their free time. It鈥檚 normal to have concerns, and part of my job is listening to and addressing the concerns of parents and other family members. They are a child鈥檚 most important caregivers, and I鈥檓 here to support them.
