Get to Know Me
I always wanted to be a pediatrician because I love caring for children, especially babies. 聽I also enjoy talking to families and helping them. Every office visit is an opportunity to improve a child鈥檚 health. 聽Whether a child has eczema and I can stop the itch, or it鈥檚 a routine well-child check, I鈥檓 here to help kids.
Why I Treat Children
I鈥檝e had the opportunity to work with a wide variety of people because I was part of a military family. I鈥檝e practiced medicine around the world, which has shown me many perspectives. I鈥檓 happy to return to Central Florida so I can take part in helping the kids and babies I care for as they reach every milestone.
What I'm Passionate About
I have a special interest in treating the chronic conditions that can get in the way of a child enjoying an active, happy childhood. 聽For example, when I help families get their child鈥檚 asthma under control, I know I鈥檓 not just helping that child breath more easily, I鈥檓 also helping the child and family lead an active lifestyle that contributes to lifelong health. 聽When I鈥檓 not at work, I enjoy cooking, playing with my children at the park, Zumba, and traveling with my kids and my husband.
How I Try to Make A Difference
Parent education is an important part of my job. I鈥檓 a mom with two small children, so I understand the challenges of juggling work and parenthood.
