Get to Know Me
I have been a nurse for 26 years with the last 7 being a nurse practitioner in pediatric critical care — specifically the Pediatric Critical Care Unit (PICU) and concentrating on medical-surgical care. I have also worked in critical care transport, and in pediatrician offices.Â
Why I Treat Children
I like treating children because they want to get well and it is gratifying to see kids get better and go home — especially ones who overcame tough conditions.
What I'm Passionate About
I believe that kids deserve the best quality care from a team of medical professionals in multiple specialties if necessary, and are best served in a highly specialized hospital such as ours. In my field I am especially interested in pulmonology and neurology, but have experience with a variety of pediatric conditions, both inpatient and outpatient.
How I Try to Make A Difference
I try to do my best to be present in the moment at all times when I am at work and treat everyone’s children as though they are my own.
